Introduction 

NEST 125/250/500/1000mL PC Erlenmeyer Flask with flat or baffled bottom are newly added to the collection, equipped with seal caps or vent filter caps. The whole collection of Erlenmeyer Flasks are sterile and enzyme-free, and are intended for the culture of suspended cells and bacteria. In the culture process of mammalian cells and insect cells, the cells show strong viability and high protein expression in NEST Erlenmeyer Flasks, Baffled. The groove at the bottom forms a vortex that accelerates the reagent flow to improve the oxygen exchange rate between the surface and the outside for higher dissolved oxygen content.



1. The bottle is made of medical polycarbonate (PC), which complies with ISO10993. It has high transparency, strong impact resistance and anti-oxidation activity, and can withstand temperature up to 121°C;

2. The PTFE permeable membrane in the vent cap can effectively prevent the entry of microorganisms;

3. The baffle facilitates the exchange between cells and air, increasing the gas exchange rate for higher dissolved oxygen content;

4. Sterilized by Electron beam SAL=10-6; Individual Packaging.


Precautions 

The amount of cμLture medium shoμLd be well-controlled: around 30%-40% of the total volume of the flask. For the control of the rotation speed during the cμLtivation process, it is recommended that the starting rotation speed is 75-125 rpm which can be  adjusted in practice. Pay attention to the water level in a liquid-oscillating shaker, or the temperature in an air-oscillating shaker.
